Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 2026

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

Bright Voices Speech Therapy Ltd is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with visual, auditory, cognitive, or motor impairments. We want every family who visits our site to be able to find information, complete our referral form, and get in touch with us without barriers.

We are working to ensure our website meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as best practice. As a small private business we are not legally required to meet the Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations, but we have adopted these guidelines because we believe accessibility matters.

2. How Accessible Our Website Is

We have built our website with accessibility in mind, including:

  • Keyboard navigation throughout the site
  • Compatibility with screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
  • Support for browser-based text resizing and zoom
  • Clear, readable fonts and considered colour contrast
  • A fully responsive design that works on mobile, tablet, and desktop
  • Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images

3. Known Limitations

As a new and growing business, we are aware there may be areas where we can still improve. We are committed to identifying and addressing any issues as we become aware of them, including continuing to review colour contrast and alternative text across the site, and reviewing the accessibility of any third party tools (such as our Stripe payment integration) as they are added.

4. What to Do If You Cannot Access Part of Our Website

If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of our website, or if you need information in a different format, please contact us. We can provide information by email or telephone, send documents in alternative formats, or arrange to speak with you directly to assist with completing a referral. Please contact us at help@brightvoicesspeechtherapy.com and we will aim to respond within 5 working days.

5. Reporting Accessibility Problems

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you find any barriers or issues, please let us know by emailing help@brightvoicesspeechtherapy.com with a description of the problem and the page you were visiting.
